Rick is gaining recognition for his outstanding
work depicting Mustangs and Cobras and more recently the cars of Mercedes
Benz which include both the 300SL Gullwing coupes and convertibles.
In future the artist Rick Herron plans to include more cars from Carroll
Shelby, including more model years of the GT350 and GT500 Mustang.
He is begriming a series on Corvettes from 1953 to the present and
hopes to include some fabulous show cars. He is also now accepting
commissions from owners of the fabulous Loewy coupes and Avantis to

Lamborghini
Guillardo Lamborghini
began as a Spanish tractor company that later went on to produce some
of the worlds most stunning automobiles. The bull is a very prominent
animal in Spain and bullfighting is the national sport. I have created
a piece to reflect the Spanish passion, however the bullfighter is nowhere
to be seen. Wonder what happened to him. Refinements will follow.
Ford
GT 40 In
My opinion the original GT 40 was the most revolutionary race car in history.
Though development of mid engine race cars were on the drawing board or
actually being raced in grand prix this was the first time an enclosed
automobile with luggage space, spare tire and room for two and with a
mid engine was developed for racing. There were many first for this car.
It used a monocoque design where bonding was used to mate the panels together.
It exceeded 200 mph down the Mulsanne straight at Le Mans and versions
of it won there four times.The one pictured above is the new version.
Dodge
Daytona The Dodge Daytona was one of the most potent and
aerodynamic cars in the stock car circuit during its day. More updates
to follow. The history of stock car and NASCAR goes back to the late forties
and fifties when moonshine runners hopped up their cars to outrace the
local law. It took many decades of rule changes to get to the cars we
see today. Stock meant that it was a car from the factory and not a racecar
in the traditional sense built from the ground up. Small modifications
were made but basically it was a car that most anybody could own.
R8 Audi.
The Audi R8 is derived from the same chassis as the Gallardo
but with a different body it is badged as an audi. Updates to the artwork
will follow.
